How to define terminology specific to your team

Part of our mission is to make your experience in Benchling In Vivo as frictionless as possible. One of the ways we do this is by allowing you to define terminology that is relevant to your studies. Specifically, you can define samples, observations and deceased reasons and determine which information should be captured alongside these.

Before reading ahead, you should understand that access to the Glossary feature is limited to team administrators. If you need changes to be made, please get in contact with the relevant contacts within your company.

If you are an administrator, you will see the Glossary icon in the blue navigation bar on the left side of your screen. Click on this icon to access the Glossary settings for your team.

From here, you can select the category for which you would like to make changes:
